Encore
Stick, you have a camera that is perfectly able to take pix at real low levels, your 20D. just stick a 50mm/1.4 or 35 mm 1.4 on it, crank it up to 1600 ISO, and you'll get vastly superior results compared to any mobile phone. I upgraded to the 5D, and a 24/1.4, am amazed by the low light capability. Darkish rooms at night... when you aren't carrying your camera... only your phone.... Hey Mr S, that sounds indeed a bit suspicious for a happily married man.
Encore
Oh, maybe use 3200 ISO, and underexpose by two stops, shoot RAW files, correct the RAW files in a RAW editor back two stops, you'll still have betetr quality than any mobile phone. Stickman
Youâ??re right, my Canon 20D with the 50 mm 1.4 (yeah, I have one) produces outstanding shots at any light level. The thing is, this is a rather conspicuous looking device and I want part of the reason I want a mobile with a camera with low light capability is for the ability to surreptitiously take photos as evidence for my investigation sidelineâ?¦. Encore
I should have known that was the explanation, sorry if I cast doubtful aspersions on your motives.
