Nervous_Dog
<> Many parts of Africa, "By the Sword" is a interesting term, but if cutting of food and aid and services counts towards someones death then africa would qualify, parts of Papua New Guinea would,
cavanami
They haven't used the sword in the last 100 years, but they have used rice! hence, they can the "converts", "rice Christians". The converts sing and pray to get food. They do the same in the missions for the homeless in the USA and other parts of the world. Sing and pray for Jesus and we will give you food...sounds like a cruel blackmail scheme to me.
Fidel
Very good points Dog & Cavanami... it even happens here in Pakistan. Worldvision, one of the world's largest NGOs, is Christian based, has prayer sessions each day and will not allow anyone who is not a devout Christian to progress beyond lower anagement levels. Central Scrutinizer
Well, by the sword means through violent means. But you do raise a valid point here. And they are cunts that do this sort of religious blackmail for food. But, it is their money and food to distribute as they see fit, no? If people do not like that they should not give money to these twats, or write to the respective agencies that SHOULD be watching this shit and making rules against this form of proselytizing (sic?) which is evil in its core. Looks like they want to starve out the competing religion. Nasty people, on all fronts at times. Hardly the 'christian' thing to do it seems to me.
