The forgotten 2001 conspiracy

As resident conspiracy theorist, I feel obliged to bring up the Anthrax attacks that everyone seems to have forgotten about.

 

Here's the jist (from wikipedia):

The 2001 anthrax attacks in the United States, also known as "Amerithrax" from its FBI codename, occurred over the course of several weeks beginning on September 18, 2001 (a week after the September 11, 2001 attacks). Letters containing anthrax bacteria were mailed to several news media offices and two U.S. Senators, killing five people and sickening seventeen others. The crime remains unsolved.

 

The senators whose offices were targeted were Democrats.

 

The attacks were used to build the case for going to war against Iraq.

 

Although Attorney General John Ashcroft labeled Dr. Steven Hatfill a "person of interest" in a press conference, no charges have been brought against him. He is considered by skeptics to be a willing fall guy who is now suing everyone imaginable and stands to make a fortune as a result. He is a former high level government biological warfare specialist and a supporter of the Nazi AWB in Zimbabwe.

The quality of the product contained in the letter to Senator Daschle was better than that found in the Soviet, U.S. or Iraqi program, certainly in terms of the purity and concentration of spore particles."

 

So, it would appear the Anthrax was weapons grade and probably produced by someone working in a US government faciltity.

 

The theory is that the Anthrax attacks were an inside job to further build a case for war against Iraq.

 

And here's the real kicker: The Associated Press reported that members of Vice President Dick Cheney's staff took Cipro on the night of the September 11 attacks as a precaution, a week before the first anthrax attack.

I was given, actually told I must, take all the shots for smallpox and anthrax, as I was doing work for the USA military in the Middle East.

I had major concerns about side effects, but if you didn't accept the shots, you were not allowed into the "red zone" where I was doing my work.

The US gov spent millions giving out the shots.

 

Conspiracy? had to say because we are not provide all the detaisl and data. What we get is filtered, BS provided by the "news media".

Even those that get to rub up with people "in the know" often do not get enough of the real story to determine valid conclusions.

 

For me, I see a very sad state of affairs, as one can only try to make an educated guess from what he has been fed.

Fidel I agree with most things you write about, but <> is not really overwhelming evidence.

 

In fact I believe the whole anthrax thing prob was a government job BUT I dont think just because someone got worried about terroriest using anthrax, a fear quite common, that confirms he was on the inside of the government deal.

If I recall, Anthrax cells or spores or whatever, have a unique mark, that can tie them to a batch or lot from which they were createsd? (JOSH! WAKE UP WE NEED YOU) Seem to recall this being mentioned during the scare. Hence it seems to me, the authorities should be able to track this stuff, and narrow it down a bit...

Didn't they track down the anthrax used in Florida to some USA military site?

That is what I am getting at, I believe what they found was it came from their own source, or was somehow tied to one...
