Guest
Some of my favourite street foods include Khao moo daeng - cuts of bbq'd pork on rice smothered in a rich (non-spicy) sauce. A variation on this is Khao moo grob made with crispy pork. Ask for Khao moo daeng piset (special) and you'll get both kinds of pork. Served with a halved boiled egg and a few fresh spring onions. 20 - 30 baht depending on type and location Bah mee moo daeng - vermicelli type noodles with pork and veg. Variations are 'mee naam' (with broth) or 'haeng' (no broth). 25 baht A variation on the sai krawk isaan is naem. A bit like sai krawk in taste but much more sour and are small oblong patties on a stick. Again, served with prik kee nuu, ginger etc. 10 baht per stick. Pah gon toe is like a donut batter type pastry that makes a great breakfast warm with sweetened soya milk. 2 baht per piece + 5 baht for the milk. Enjoy !!!
