Coss
Well I know her as xxx, but she's not at the guest house any more, so she's written "Soudsady xxx" Could it (Soudsady) be her surname first? or is this Laotion for sexy beast or some such? Dumsoda
Loosely translated (my Lao is non existant, but I do have the "perfect" teacher!!) I think it means....get your Ass back here quickly and make sure your wallet is full.... Sorry mate, couldn't resist !!
Flashermac
If she is really from Laos, they use a Frenchified spelling of their names. Sounds like a name, since I can't figure out what "sady" would be the end of. e.g. A Laotian gal might write Suwanna as Souvanna -- but pronounce it the same. Coss
Thanks Flashermac, Dumsoda, if I could I would, I'm dreaming up reasons as I work too hard in Middle Earth. Cheers Coss
rookie
I believe it's the basic greeting in Khmer...not Lao....like 'hello, how are you'.
