Translation Software???

Pianoman,

The best on line language translator I have found is at www.links.nectec.or.th/services/parsit/index2

If that fails try www.nectec and follow the links. It is not brilliant but probably the best I have come across. Like all thai computor translation systems it it far from perfect but not bad if you just want to translate a few words. I would not use it to write a comprehensive letter to a thai bar girl!!! You may just want to say how much you like her and the translation may come out as you promising to give her all your worldly goods!! smile.gif" border="0 You will also need to have thai fonts installed in your computor.

I'm sure Bangkok Phil will be able to help you with language programmes if you post under languages. I just use tape cassettes and Rosetta Stone language library (www.Rosetta Stone) with the occassional trips to a language tutor.

Hope this helps,

Cheers Hall
