fear not there are pockets of serinity, just had a week in the peak district near bakewell/chatsworth/castleton area, its clinging onto some old ways whatever that means?....unspoiled landscapes, no reckless development....hard to put a finger on it but according to my parents who grew up in the area say its pretty much as it was 50/60 years ago, a good place to raise children unlike so many shitholes here infested with festering sores the gov are too fucking spineless to address

maybe the point is that society in the UK has gotten so bad that regular people are happy to have anything that might put it back right,

Not sure if spying on everyone is the way to go, but it does seem that after 9/11 anything is OK in the name of security.

really sad when you think about it , but probably just the beginning.......will we need passes from the local agency to travel out of the eyes of the cameras ?

IMHO the UK is screwed on so many levels...

If you remove responsibility from people by seeking to control and monitor their every move you create a childlike populace. Responsibility is tied to an individuals emotional and psychological development.

If you understand this, then you have your answer on how to cure the UKs considerable ills.
