asiafun
How conducive to partying, prices and travel will Thailand be after the New Year is over? Will things settle back to normal off season prices? I will be working in the general area of SEA and am contemplating an office visit perhaps around the Lunar New Year. Guest
Yes, i'd imagine so...they should quickly return to pre-silly season prices
Weird
Depends where you are too. In Phuket New Years parties didn't seem to end for about a week in some places.
liquidflux
Which new year are we talking? Calendar new year isn't too bad, but Chinese new year is a different story. I think it's falls sometime in February next year. Partying should be fine, but travel and accomodation can be a nightmare.
asiafun
I think I will place it in between calender and Chinese New Years and hopefully avoid the ass-pain. I would really like to take part in the Chinese festivities but not sure if my time and budget can deal with it. I am saving the Baht Gun Ammo and Baht Grenades for a Major Walking Street conflict this Spring. Probably do a drive by in Nana and the Cowboy.
