Scarfman, first words go to you. I have no Hoe and I don't sponsor anyone and if you believe a regular BG is doing just 20k then start puking. You obviously forgot the salary and the drinks + the tips her part of the barfine and that the most guys just pretend to pay on the lowest level. I never got tricked into paying anything btw. Bust it is not about knowing less, I am just trying to get some honesty here and offer an evolved solution. IT IS HARD ENOUGH TO MAKE A RELATIONSHIP WORK IN THE REAL WORLD, it requires compromises, sacrifices, patience and of course trust! With a Thai BG it it requires exactly the same features as with a farang girl + sponsoring + the family issue(more money?) From my observation chair it looks that the punters do believe they can cut out some of the basic features because they believe that if they pay money they obey to the basic rule already. It is like that, I saw more than 1 man turning into a control freak because he believed he just bought hisself a piece of meat. Funnily the large majority of sponsors are tourists who come 2 to 3 times a year. I find it hard enough to make a long distance relationship work with a real girl, it is even harder with a Thai p4p worker. Now to my point She is doing less money, she has less fun, she has less sex, she is seeing her friends less and in the best case scenario she is in her little village imposing as the family maid. Valid question: how would you feel if it was you who had to do these sacrifices? The girls basically tell you what you want to hear "i want to make enough money that I can stay homw with my family and take care my baby" Now that is not exactly the truth, that is just a line to push us! What they really like is to have the freedom they have away from home, they want their families to be satisfied and I haven't met many girls who were keen to take care of their babies. Now there is the punter who is talking like he has the solution for everything and in the most cases he doesn't care about her situation. In the most cases there is no solution, just money, a little bit patience and the stereotype offers like "i make you visa" which usually takes ages because they are not 100% behind it or have to fix stuff at home first. As soon this situation affects the punters normal life he realises that this is more than a game. Only few go through with it and make it work but the most see themsleves pulled out of the holiday mood an realise that this thing could make him broke, it will now affect his real life, he is loosing his own freedom and he will ask hisself "how is that going to end in the long run?" All of a sudden the solutions he had in the holiday mood when everything is running smooth are gone. Some feeling like they are paralized and some others start fighting. That is where punters are arrogant, because they don't see their girls as equal partners, somehow she is always the hooker or the poor girl from the country side. It seems like he is in control and he feels qualified enough to make the decissions because he is paying her but IMHO a relationship can only work for both when you make the decissions together! Why is a punter buying out a BG? Because he is selfish, he is not doing it for her but pretends to do so. If one would really care about his girl he would sponsor her and let her do her job, that would be a raise for her and that would give her the freedom to turn down customers she can't stand, it will provide more money to the family and speeds up the plan of getting the family a new house, car and a farm etc.... I know about a plenty of girls who have an agreement like that with their sponsors and none of these girls would ever leave their sponsor for more handsome guy or a richer guy, they appreciate their freedom and they pay him back by beeing loyal to him. When he returns he gets a happy girl, because she gets the time for beeing young, the time to experiement and the money to make everyone in her family have a decent piece of the pie. The most girls doesn't want to stop working because the other option means staying at home which is nice for 2 weeks but highly boring after 1 month. Giving her the time to loose interest on the hooker job by giving her the freedom while making sure that you are there for her is probably the ideal solution because everybody had the time to get things fixed first before jumping into the cold water. Tourists can just back off and continue their regular lifes, while a BG was set back due to lower payments, when you consider that her time span is limited to 10 to 15 years to gather the money she needs for her family and her own security then you probably realise that you shouldn't be selfish. Try to think about what it would mean for you to get all your stuff done during the time when you are 18yo and 33yo. Think about the sacrifices you would have to make by not going out, by staying focused on your goal. We have the luxury to gather the money for ourselves, now think about what it would have meant to you to sacrifice your youth for work and contributing the half of your income to your parents! I my own personal case I was like that, I worked my ass off untill my 34th birthday since I was a young boy, I have sacrificed my youth for work and I know how it feels when you friends play football or going to a club while you are sitting in front of the screen. Therefore I can afford what I want now but if I had a 2nd chance I would choose to live more and work less! That is something people on this board and out there in the bars turn down with a few unthoughtful words like "they are hookers" "nobody is forcing them" etc... Fact is the most relationships don't work and at the end it was the girls fault, which makes her automatically a scammer in the punters eyes. I am not expecting much support in this thread, I know for a fact that some people will see themselves in the things I wrote but the most if not all will not admit it and will keep on going exploting the situation of the girls who needs a farang husband to achieve the goals her family has set up for her! Somehow you have avoided to speak it out What was it in your opinion that it didn't worked. What could you have done to make it work? You said you lived with them, which means what I have said above doesn't apply in this case! In my RTs the money never wa the problem, they had more than enough because I made things happen for her family that they will be able to make their own money in the long run (because I wanted to, neve rbeen asked) From what I have heard it works for them and I am happy I did it. My problem was that i have picked always too young girls who acted like jealous kids and I am not that patient to handle that for longer period of time when accusations are based on her fantasy! There is also the honesty issue.... never believe a bar girl and you probably wil be okay. Most of these girls seem to have huge egos. Wanting 20-30K seems stupid in light of what most Thai people make. If she should work a decent job and you give her extra money, that is one thing, but bar girls don't seem to want to really work.
