Bangkok Post Today Link Thailand beat England 2-1 Thailand overcame England 2-1 in the annual Christmas Eve charity match organised by Winking Frog bar owner Derek Wheatcroft. Proceeds from the match went to the Pakred Orphanage. The second annual game pitted an expatriate side (England) against a Thai side at Nuanchan. The game was an open affair with plenty of action and incidents to keep the players and supporters occupied. Bartek fired England ahead but Chattree and Nop bagged a goal each to hand Thailand victory. Chattree was later awarded the Golden Boot for his long-range strike. England won last year's game.
