When I was a kid it always looked like fun and I even had a ball myself that me and my friends would occasionally kick around the back yard, though more often I used it as a light and airy basketball in the driveway (I could shoot that thing from across the street!). The number I heard on the radio was $10 million. They also said that just a few years ago the entire league payroll was only $23 million in comparison.
