Police said on Tuesday that he has apparently been working as a teacher at an international school "for several years." Sean McMahon, 45, was arrested Monday at his Bangkok apartment following a request from British authorities, police said. McMahon was accused of raping the girl between January, 1997. and September, 1998. He was arrested a year later for the crimes in Britain and was released on bail. McMahon would be repatriated back to the UK, police said. It was unclear when McMahon came to Thailand, although police said they believed he had been working as an English teacher for several years here. He was finally traced to his apartment on the northern outskirts of the capital on Monday evening. Is there really that much of that deplorable shit going on or are they using it as a base to go to Cambodia or wherever? I personally have not seen anything that would indicate the possibility of widespread pedo activity in Thailand unless it's deep deep below the surface.
