After quite some surfing â?? following your inputs - it seems that in fact south of Hua Hin could be a great option. Iâ??ve been several times in Hua Hin but actually never for beach holidays. But Khao Takieb looks great. I am planing now to book a hotel for several days and have a look around in this whole area and it also seems that nice houses can be rented for long term to fair prices. For my wife this also is conveniend to her home - Phatum Thani - I would estimate a drive of around 4 to 5 hours. Fidel Posted January 31, 2007 Report Share Posted January 31, 2007 Hi Sundowner, I don't think you'll regret it if you choose Khao Takiab. I lived there with my girlfriend for about a year. Loved it.
