sh7691
A question for the board......... I have Motorola mobile that I bought in Thailand earlier this year witha pre-paid card in it. I also have an unlocked spare UK bought Nokia 8210. If I got the IMEI number on the Nokia changed to my Thai Motorola IMEI would this allow me to use a Thai pre-paid card on it? Any help appreciated SamSaleung
Guest
HUMM, Shouldnt have to do that. You should just be able to simply pop in your thai pre-paid sim card into your other phone. Thats all I have to do. My GF just lets me use hers when Im in Los. Motorola V60g.
sh7691
Brian, I tried that with my UK Nokia 8850 and it didn't work. After reading this board and others it seems that the Thai network will only allow a Thai IMEI number work. That's why I thought that if I have my UK Nokia 8210 or 8850 programmed with the Thai IMEI from my Thai Motorola it should work..... Anyway I'll see if anyone agrees or has tried this.... Thanks anyway
