Mohammad Ali Ramin, the head of the "World Holocaust Foundation" created after Iran's controversial Holocaust conference last year, said Austria, Germany and Poland in particular should supply documents. "They should hand over the proof for the dossier on the organized massacre of Jews in Europe during World War II to the independent international fact-finding committee affiliated to this foundation," the IRNA state news agency quoted him as saying on Tuesday. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ordered the creation of the foundation after inviting a number of controversial revisionist Holocaust researchers to a conference in Tehran in December that caused an international outcry. Ahmadinejad has repeatedly questioned the scale of the Holocaust, described the mass killing of millions of Jews in World War II as a "myth" and also called for Israel to be "wiped from the map". The foreign researchers invited to the conference -- some of whom have criminal records at home -- gave papers claiming the Holocaust never happened on the scale assumed by the vast majority of historians. Mainstream historians specialising in the Third Reich counter there is ample documentary proof that around six million Jews were killed by the Nazis in World War II, although some estimates put the figure slightly higher or lower. The UN General Assembly last month unanimously approved a US-proposed resolution condemning denial of the Holocaust, in a move diplomats said was directly aimed at Iran's stance. Although not strictly speaking extermination camps both Dachau and Sachsenhausen were in Germany and people were killed there, also Jews. SiLeakHunt Posted February 8, 2007 Report Share Posted February 8, 2007 I was listening to the radio in the UK last time I was at home working and I heard a Jewish woman in Manchester saying that Europe and Britain in particular should suffer a 1000 years of shame for what happened in the war. When asked to clarify that she explained that the holocaust was Britain's fault as they knew it was happening long before they intervened. That's why Jewish people should enjoy privelage over Brits in their own country !!!!!! I'm sure as Mr Trink would say, any comment would be supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! There's no doubt that the Jews are an amazing race ( some of my best friends are Jewish and I like most Woody Allen movies) but calling themselves the Chosen People is quite insulting to the rest of the world when you think about it. If you outlaw discussing it.. people will do it just to piss you off. I think it's ridiculous to throw people in jail for questioning it. 'Nejad kind of has a point though... if 60 million people died during WWII, why such a big fuss over 10% of a particular race/religion? (That's not my opinion BTW, I'm inclined to believe orthodox teaching on the Holocaust and I think it was inhuman beyond belief.. as is the Zionist's treatment of the Palestinians). Most people claim 6 million jews were killed but they claim 1 million. 1 million people perished but many died from sickness and starvation. People dwell on the fact 1 million jews were killed but forget that other groups were killed also.
