Above poster is correct though in that most things here are more expensive than other parts of Thailand (and they get it because people who can afford it generally prefer Phuket, unless their main interest is just shagging bar girls). If I got the (first) girl in before 11pm they didn't hassle me but after 11 the security guards will stop you and you'll have to go to the front desk, sign your girl in and pay your 400 Baht. Was there four months ago (late November) and it was no problem. I booked the room for two, so maybe that's why. I did have to register my friend at the front desk, but was never charged extra. I complained when I checked in that I never paid before when I've stayed there which is why I chose their hotel. They didn't seem to care. Something about new management.
