Just an fyi. I developed a slight rash (small red bumps) on my forearms and inner thighs a couple of days after a hot oil massage. (probably a little more info than you wanted)

With it being my first trip to BKK I was a little concerned about the rash and headed to Bumrungrad (sp?) to have it checked out. I was able to quickly see a doctor, who immediately asked if I had recently had a hot oil massage. I hadn't even considered that, but it was pretty logical when he pointed it out to me.

The doctor told me it would go away in a couple of days, but gave me some ointment to hasten the process. He mentioned that this is pretty comong among farang with light complexions. It didn't itch or anything. It was just bothersome more than anything. Just something to consider before your next hot oil massage.
