WorldFun
many countries banks(or some banks within some countries) don't charge a single cent for incoming transfers & thats how it should be really(it's all done automatic by the bloody computers, but still *some banks* again drag that process out for days . thailand I understand is one of the countries where they charge a nominal fee(few hundreds bt?) for this while others might have the nerve to charge a percentage! also for some reason the internal(free) citibank to citibank internet transfers are not allowed into thailand while e.g. singapore & india is OK banks!!! bushman
I recently sent a transfer to my K bank account. The exchange rate quoted both in the paper and on yahoo was 32.30 Bht to the dollar. I was pleasantely surprised when I got the exchange rate of 34.5. Bush
