Nightmare airlines

I've had the Biman experience, but it's such a well-known catastrophe that if nothing goes wrong you feel a bit disappointed. At the very least one should get a Dhaka airport layover, a good and miserable time.

Air Nepal International was a good one - you were guaranteed of at least an extra day or two in Bangkok while they cancelled the flights, but they've gone under. Yeti Airlines, Cosmic, Lao Aviation, Indian Airlines domestic and Vietnam Airlines have all on occasion caused me to swear to travel by ground travel only in the future... although I can stand almost anything for a couple of hours, and most of those flights are short. Can only imagine local African flights...

YimSiam (the kind of man who has a collection of 'air discomfort' bags from airlines around the world... Sometimes feel a bit sheepish heisting them as I leave the plane, but they make a memorable and extremely inexpensive souvenir - just not one you can give as a gift, even unused)
