Old Hippie
I know most Thai nicknames have some sort of meaning or significance, does the word "Porn" as a name mean anything ? I've read a few lists on the web, but none mention this name. To add to the few serious answers you got, I think it is actually suposed to be pronounced "Pawn" Not "Porn" as it is spell...or so they tell me... Perhapes C68 and/or Flash can elaborate...? Flashermac
Years ago I worked with a Thai archan named Thoert ... only he spelled it Turd! He got a scholarship to study for his PhD in Canada. We seriously advised him to changed the way he spelled his name, since he could hardly go about introducing himself as Mr Turd.
