Snowman71
Well...the deed was done and dusted yesterday. It was a superb wedding and party. This wasn't even ruined by the seven arrests and police gunshots that were fired !!! Full report to follow ... Snowman71...

WorldFun
Fark Snowman - like if the police wasn't busy enough as it is (e.g. 10kusd ransom out to find swedish girl, killed swedish girl in phuket, car bombs entering thai terrorism etc)!!! Cheers - well done p.s. I became father last weekend without much shootings!!!

Snowman71
Well, chaps, we're a month into Mrs X living here in the UK with me. I won't say it's been easy cos it hasn't. However, she's still here and every day gets a little easier for us. She is really badly missing her kids and family but talks (a lot !) to them every day. The weather, which is even worse than normal, has been an issue but the central heating has cured that ill. On the positive side she has now met 12/14 Thai girls who live in our area and regularly meets up for food / chat / cards. There is a marker which imports Thai fruit (Durian at £ 20 a pop !), Veg and Tinned Goods every week so that always brings a smile to her face. On a negative tip she has become WAY too fond of our local Casino but I'm giving her a little leeway on that one at the mo. She has also got on amazingly with my friends and family and everyone has really warmed to her. In fact, tonight we are hosting our first dinner party so that should be fun. All in all, it's going as well as I could have hoped with only a few hiccups. If the sun can get it's arse out for a few weeks we may even have cracked it for now ! Snowman71...
