Issan Pub Sukhumvit

This is a great place to take a lady, all the ones I have been there with loved it. Location is on soi 23,turn right opp Tai Pan Hotel, to the end past Narcisus then left down to the end of the part of the soi just under a big red banner across the road.

Issan Pub is on the left opp connect 2 bar. The sign is difficult to see from the road.

Inside it is a modern club type place with a stage and a band. Open from lunch-1.A.M.

The music is morlam and Lookthung, the food and drink prices are reasonable.

This place has only been open three months and does not get many customers so every time I have been is like a private party ending up with dancing with the singers and getting drinks bought us by the owner.

Last week Jintara sang there but I missed her.-peter

Thanks for the tip. I added to my list of places to visit in November.

Here is a tip from me for similar places (actually 3 in one building, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors). One of my Thermae girls took me the first time. I don't remember the name, but it is easy to find. It is on the corner of Sukumvit and 19th one block before Asok on the same side of Sukumvit as Asok Plaza. Get off the Skytrain at Asok. Exit on North side. Turn left on Sukumvit (Asok/Soi 21 is to the right). At the corner (do not cross 19th) is an entrance to a 3-level entertainment complex. I believe there is a Texas/Country bar on the ground floor next to the entrance. The first level up is a disco/dancing place, 2nd level is a karaoke bar and 3rd level has live entertainment/dancing, etc. 95% Thai and lot's of fun.

The place at the top is caled Laochroen and on a good night is one of the best places. Last night was not one of them, Siriporn was meant to sing but it was cancelled, they said it was due to the police but I doubt this.-peter
