teddy
What do you guys think of Liverpool's new stadium. I actually love it but in a poll in the Liverpool Echo fans were split 50/50 between loving it and hating it. It is a total departure from the mundane bowl stadiums such as the Reebok, Emirates, etc. The stadium will have 60,000 seats in it when it opens but that will include only 1,500 in the away supporters end. When the new rail link is complete, the seats will then be put in the away end and elsewhere and the capacity will be 76,000. The Kop will have 18,000 seats. Here's some photos:
The_Munchmaster
So The Emirates Stadium is a mundane bowl stadium? Really? Strange how it has had so many compliments on its great design. But you probably know best Teddy.
teddy
All compliments came from either Gooners or 'mundane bowl stadium' architects and enthusiasts
Snowman71
It looks like a giant "George Foreman Grill". Seriously, it will look dated very quickly, if you ask me. And the inside is decidedly dull... Snowman71...

limbo
That'll be in average once a year when the Arsenal come to visit you guys, unless you're really unlucky and get your asses whipped a few more times in the various cup challenges. :bangit:
teddy
2004 - 2005 - Liverpool 2 : Arsenal 1 2005 - 2006 - Liverpool 1 : Arsenal 0 2006 - 2007 - Liverpool 4 : Arsenal 1 Yeh, really crapping myself, this fixture has always been a banker for us. Except when we deliberately lose one of the lesser cup ties so we can concentrate on the PL and CL

Snowman71
Concentrate on the PL ? You haven't been concentrating on *that* (in it's various guises) for 18 years now, mate. I suspect it'll be another 18 before it comes your way too... Snowman71...
SiLeakHunt
The see through bit at the end is designed so that you can see if those kids really are looking after your car. Cheers
