It seems to be some kind of traditional thai tattoo. It's greenish and I belive it is permanent (no henna). I can tell it's some kind of symbol in the center (like the tower of a temple). On the sides and below it you find writing, the writing is winding and not normal thai letters as I can determine from distance. The true meaning of the tattoo is a mystery that I like to solve as I can't get a proper answer from the girl. Other than it's a poem. I judge it must be a magic spell of a kind? Why don't you suggest that she has a shave, or better still shave her yourself, so that you can get a better look? Tell her it's a shame for such a beautiful tattoo to be hidden in the undergrowth.
