tomc12
I stayed in an executive suite at the Sunway Hotel over by Wat Phnom. Nice decor, balcony, no problem with guests.

That's a high rent place. But if you've got the bread, enjoy yourself. Prices in PP are on the rise. But there will always be something for every budget. I haven't been to Snookyville, in a while. Think I'll try it.
Coss
http://www.cafecaliforniaphnompenh.com/ My favourite, get a riverfront room, many fine afternoons drinking at the river front. Good staff, US manager. Cheers Coss
dddave
Trip Advisor. Phnom Penh Someone posted some pictures. Looks good. What is the location of Paris Hotel? The paris is on Kampuchea Krom, about 1km from the Central Market. It is mostly a commercial district with little nightlife close by, but the hotel does have a in house massage fishbowl on the 3rd (or maybe 5th) floor. The girl will usually ask $30 f/s but usually will settle for $20. Most of their clients are Chinese from the Casino on the 1st floor so some of the girls are scared of Westerners. The rooms are decent, especially the end units that overlook an attractive, tree lined mall with the lake (swamp?) in the distance. $15 when I stayed there last spring. They will arrange for you to be picked-up at the airport if you book in advance, not sure if still free. e-mail: paris_hotel@hotmail.com Do not confuse with New Paris Hotel, also on Kampuchea Krom. There are reports on the ISG board an alleged nasty incident there last year. A farang was making video's of girls in his room and was raided by the police and shaken down; he claims he was set-up by the hotel. He doesn't get a lot of sympathy from me but it is worth mentioning.
kamui
I found somewhere the Big Luck Hotel recommended and booked a standard room (1400 TB) for over next week. I will write a short report afterwards.
exit2dos
Big Luck charges $42 for a very nice large room, which is about 1400 Bt. Well worth it. They've got cheap ones, too.
