bkkman
I would like to believe that something like this will not happen with the BTS or MRT here in Bangkok. A friend tells me that every night between 12 and 6am they check every inch of track for problems. I hope this means that maintenance is top notch but knowing Thailand and quality here I have my doubts. It would be very sad indeed if a car came off the tracks or the system failed and allowed a crash.
shygye
The MRT already has had two trains collide.

cardinalblue
Don't you think it is unfair to expect Thais to elevate their lifestyle and their existence to our western standards... Life is cheap in SE Asia; accept it and move on. Their is a reason why things and services cost less in LOS. One can't have safety, high quality and low costs all in one... Enjoy your taxi ride from the airport..... CB
