RayRay
Here is a link to a mock NFL Draft 1st round. Your boy Colt Brennan didn't make the list, but three other QB's did including Matt Ryan at the #1 spot. Mock 1st Round
Hugh_Hoy
Not to worry. Lots of good QB's this year. But he'll get drafted. BTW, I printed out this yo-yo's predictions and will save them for the last week of April. So, who do you think Miami will pick? (Where the "F" do they start?) NanaHunter
Colt Brennan..A system kid from the Pass Happy June Jones era. If SMU wants a a big change stay under the radar with a soft schedule...Like UH Colt Brennan will find the draft a wake up! Have a look at the Senior Bowl. Will Colt get the nod to start which is a BIG factor in how the pro scouts will push for him... NOPE! Second Half at best...... He screwed himself with all the hair do's and hip hop outfits on Nat'l TV.... At 24 years old... remember now he is 24 years old one would expect a little maturity out of a leader rather that one who had to give up a skate board and the coaches direction! Colt, ain't going to be riding high after the draft. He may get to be on a scout team as a situation QB when the real team plays a west coast style team.... At Best http://www.nfl.com/draft/story?id=09000d5d804a1248&template=with-video&confirm=true Not even in the top 5.. And he is too small! too short and too light! Hugh_Hoy
Sounds like Ray Ray's alter ego 5555555555555. I guess Brennan should get dreadlocks and tatoos; that would surely be worth advancing a round or two. And maybe get into some bar fights and stage some dog fights? NanaHunter
Another problem with Brennan is he is SLOW! Clocked 4.9 in the 40, oooops. That is not fast enough to play any position except NT, C,G, or T. June Jones got a lot of mileage out of the whole thingo with Timmy Chang. Look at Timmy chang with all his NCAA records and he is in Canade or something like that. He couldn't even stay on the scout tean in Arizona... Colt Brennan, if picked before the 5th round will be a mistake. People are not going to touch and undersized, slow kid who came from a weak schedule. the people who thatg dummy Herman Frazier scheduled were weak. They hit the Surag Bowl and a team that was talented enought to put on a rush and pass coverage so went the Warriors. I think that the new coach hs his work cut out for him! Tyler, the new QB is going to have a long season!
NanaHunter
Colt Flopped Againg...Take the boy out of the WAC and his is WAC Senior Bowl. 4 series and he is yanked.... 2 for 6 with 1 int...... Well, lets see about the combine.... I have never thought he was going to be a big star! Heisman, they need to revist some of their selection process! Hugh_Hoy
Yep. Brennan had a tough day. This is what one know-it-all had to say on the web: "Colt Brennan, QB Hawaii Brennan needed to come up big after the Sugar Bowl disaster. He didn't. He's smaller than originally listed (but only by an inch), failed to show an NFL-level arm, and worst of all, his accuracy, his calling card at Hawaii, was missing. He completed two of six passes for 29 yards and a pick in the game. Now, with the emergence of Joe Flacco and Chad Henne, Brennan, who was sick before the week, might have gone from being in the hunt for the No. 3 quarterback taken, behind Matt Ryan and Brian Brohm, to not being even close to cracking the top five. Both Colt Brennan and Andre Woodson did more bad than good in the Senior Bowl. (G.M. Andrews / Associated Press) " HH
