Not much point asking that question really as those that like Pattaya will say that Pattaya is better and those that like Bangkok (moi) will say Bangkok is better. However the following questions may help you make up your mind. (a) How sophisticated are you? Even if you're just a little bit sophisticated you'll hate Pattaya and Bangkok is therefore better. ( For those who don't know how sophisticated they are or don't know what the word means, they should ask themselves this question. "Do you like to wear a vest, shorts and flip flops at all times of day and night?" If the answer is yes then Pattaya is better. A few friends and I are going to LOS 8 Feb to 23 Feb mostly in Pattaya but will take a trip to BKK at the midpoint and hit Patpong,Soi Cowboy, and Nana plaza. 2nd time to Pattaya, will be first to BKK hotspots.
