elef
Just Schengen countries were possible so no London and Zürich, instead take Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo.
Mentors
Just Schengen countries were possible so no London and Zürich, instead take Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo. sorry but this is wrong, with a Schengen Visa she can visit Zurich, Switzerland has a an agreement with Schengen States about that. elef
Sorry, maybe rather new rule? 4 years ago or so I was driving in Switzerland with (now) exTW and she was asked to show passport at the border, but as she had a swedish passport no problem. Barry
Amsterdam and Prague are standouts for me. Amsterdam is a life changing place to visit. Berlin is interesting for historic reasons (buildings peppered with bulletholes etc) but is otherwise drab. London is a holiday on it's own. Needs months to do it justice. cavanami
Berlin is OK, but I like Munich better, in fact the southern of Germany...better food, the castles, etc. Good beer all over Germany. Some years back, I flew to Düsseldorf, rented a car and drove to Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Neuschwanstein, Garmisch, etc. Great tip with many stops in small towns along the way.
