Bar etiquette

I think because we're talking about something pretty intimate the girls have a right to change their minds even after the barfine is paid. Maybe something happened that changed their minds meaning they got turned off. Guys change their minds about the girls too. People change their minds period. I think the girls should be able to decide who they let fuck them at each step of the way. No one owns them even though they may think they do after they pay the barfine.

There's a big difference between a girl realizing she can't go through with selling her a body and one who just sees more money to be made with a different customer and breaks her agreement with the first. Just because the act itself is "intimate" doesn't give the girls carte blanche to act irresponsibly. By the same logic, a punter could choose to change his mind about the bar girl he took out and just send her home with no pay for any reason.

I've sent about 10% of the girls I barfined home without doing jack. I do give them some money though to deal with the consequences of changing my mind. Even if I changed my mind with just cause.

It's a "free" country. Choice, even after a barfine, is essential.

I had that scenario happen to me in Pattaya. Just barfined a stunner when a guy walked in. She told me he had barfined her earlier and could she give me my barfine back. I chose the jai yen route and had a great time 'cause all the other girls saw what happened and really liked the mai pen rai attitude.

Later on, when I found my ILY2M, she would turn down bar fines until I showed up. "I wait only you" :-)

It makes me laugh when guys think that there is some kind of etiquette in bars. The only real etiquette in bars is concerned with beer; don't mess with another guy's beer. Oh yeah, the other one is don't talk to someone who is having a piss.

Going back to the subject, the girl can go with whom ever she pleases. The Frenchman in question got his barfine back, so what's the problem? There are plenty of girls around. As someone else said, it's best to go with the flow.

Girls are in a business where money comes first -good luck to them. If you have any delusions about that I think you're visiting the wrong places. Demanding rights like 'she agreed to sex so she should honour it' is IMO a bit petty.

In reply to:

How would you feel if on the way back to your hotel a regular customer of hers approached her offering her 5000B for the night and she takes it leaving you alone for the evening?

Or better, you go back to your hotel and they gave the room to someone else... smile.gif

I can't tell if you're agreeing or disagreeing with me. Phrases like "it's a 'free' country" can be used to justify almost any immoral or unethical activity.

No sane person would say that a girl should be forced to have sex with anyone, even if it was agreed to and money had already changed hands.

However, breaking a contract, even an implied one, is unethical when it is done with recklessness and no consideration (or compensation) for the other party.

When you pay the barfine (and it is accepted) there is an implicit contract. The girl is expected to have sex with the customer, the customer is expected to give more money to the girl in exchange (unless some special arrangement has been made). Allowing people to randomly break that contract (or any contract) makes life more difficult for everyone. Azmit's hotel example is a completely fair analogy.
