It may mean " and You?"

How are you...and they say back "Khun La ..= and you?

this would be said like this: laeow khun la (and waht about you!

another similar sounding expression is "khon la khrueng" (each a half = we share it!)

Hi,

It means 'one person each'.

'khon la ...' means 'one ... each'.

Sanuk!

Right...most likely à¸?ึà¹?à¸?à¸Âัà¸?à¹Âละà¸Âัà¸? = one another or mutually.

It may also mean "a different person" if you think you are hearing Khon for the first word but it is actually "ko" la khon which means "someone else..." Likewise Ko la tee means somewhere else ect etc

Otherwise its as theother posters idicated

Got it? :)

I agree with your meaning for this phrase, but not the pronounciation.

Many times, when someone is confused whether they are talking about the same person or not, or incorrectly identifying a certain person, I hear another person correct them by saying:

"KHON LA(h) KHON" (Not the same person)

It could also literaly mean "one person each", but I have never heard that usage.
