devils reject Posted June 30, 2008 Report Share Posted June 30, 2008 I've got a sneaky feeling that he ain't going anywhere. Madrid don't have the sort of cash that has been talked about. United don't want to sell. The only thing Ronaldo can do is hand in a transfer request wich will make him lose millions of pounds. I get the feeling that he will get a substancial pay rise and we will see him in the red of United again next season. Hopefully he'll bang in another 40 odd goals. These players will all expect a pay packet of 60-80 grand a week. Who's going to pay for that? I expect United to sign 1 striker(possibly someone who doesn't mind sitting on the bench), 1 versatile defender and possibly 1 or 2 youngsters for the future.
