khunsanuk
Hi, Will you include a list of online games in the 10M+ range as well? Sanuk!
Weird
Hi, Sure, here you go: The Sims (50 million, 70 million including expansions) The Sims 2 (13 million) Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (17.5 million) Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec (14.89 million shipped) Grand Theft Auto III (14.5 million) Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (12 million) Gran Turismo 4 (10.06 million shipped) Nintendogs (18.67 million) Pokémon Diamond and Pearl (14.77 million) New Super Mario Bros. (14.16 million) Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day! (12.98 million) Mario Kart DS (10.45 million) Wii Sports (21.56 million) Wii Play (11.51 million) Now, could you list a few more online (paid!) games that are in the same range? Sanuk! I'll respond to this when I have time. First thing to point out is you list The Sims when it's not recent, notice a 2nd one out.
Weird
Hi, Will you include a list of online games in the 10M+ range as well? Sanuk! Mine won't have to be in the 10M+ range, notice that you are asking me for ones with monthly subscriptions ONTOP of the initial box price
khunsanuk
Hi, Sorry, but I thought we were trying to determine interest rather than revenue? Aren't you saying that MMORPGs are more popular than offline games? If so, money is not a determining factor. Sanuk!

Aren't you saying that MMORPGs are more popular than offline games? If so, money is not a determining factor. Sanuk! I believe I said this earlier: khunsanuk, my point was that online games that you pay for are the future in gaming. If you want to compare the current MMORPGS, then do it against current games. Popularity doesn't mean anything without revenue. Free games are more popular then pay ones but they are free. Less pay = more audience, obviously who doesn't like paying less?. BUT the point is that there is still a HUGE audience for PAY games and it's growing at a significant pace. Hence my quote from above about it being the future in gaming. It's a combination of the 2, popularity + revenue, if you try to seperate it then you're taking it completely out of context.
