Palatkik
Also make sure the zip disks are compatible with the drive... some older drives won't read the more recent zip disks.
khunsanuk
Hi, "is it a usb model? " Not certain, but I kinda doubt it. I've had it for a very long time. Parallel port as Cavanami mentioned sounds a lot more familiar. Sanuk!

khunsanuk
Hi, Plenty of USB - Parallel converter cables around. Quick search found several sites offering them for sale, so I'd imagine Pantip and Fortune will have them as well. Sanuk!

manaomaiminam
Also, check on support for the zip drive. My guess is XP still had the support, but, another guess, Vista doesn't, unless you can address it as a external disk drive. Your statement, that your computer had no parallel ports, raised that question, since it is obviously fairly new (they stopped parallel ports on many models over a year ago) and therefore your OS might be Vista. Personally, I have 2 zip drives (100 Mb models) at my house here in the States, also have an apartment off Phra Kanong, but unfortunately won't be back for about 2 months. If you still need one by then, and you can do with the 100 MB version, contact me, and I will stuff it into my luggage.
