Faustian
Well we got some rain....not a crazy storm like the one I saw earlier, but a respectable downpour with regular lightning.
WorldFun
still boiling dry in the 'north' too, but sure the lightning is quite extraordinary
Faustian
Actually I'm upgrading this one to reasonably mental.... satellite off for a while now...very regular lightning, flood inducing rain and strong winds pushing the rain at 45 degrees... Pom Michael
Massive storm in downtown right now - more lightning/thunder than rain though. Luckily the electricity not go out yet....
Faustian
Lots of rain here.... Just had a weird thing happen, a kind of swirling mass of intense rain and wind, visibility was reduced to mere metres and the wind was insanely intense....just for about 2-3 minutes....almost like a whirlwind...totally new sound to me, never heard rain that intense before. Odd. Filmed a little of it, but it all happened so fast....
Torneyboy
There was a great Australian movie some years ago called 'Storm Boy" ...i wonder if they would do a remake and star you in it ...??
unit731
Just had a look outside, as there were yesterday, a line of storms on the western horizon, silhouetted against the setting sun, an awesome spectacle, lightning bubbling away, whilst the near sky turns different shades of reds, orange and yellow, refracted by the high wispy clouds covering the heavens. Seriously, have you ever thought of becoming a poet or a writer ? . . . refracted by the high wispy clouds covering the heavens . . . . Shakespeare, Joyce, Theareau, Kipling . . .
