....I would say it's a sport which requires more finesse and judgement rather than brute strength and fitness.

Agreed, however it does help to be fit, especially in the steamy heat of Dubai or LOS or when playing on the side of a mountain in Scotland.

 

Also I don't think it's any coincidence that the best player in the world (Tiger Woods) is also the strongest and fittest player.
