CTO
OK - once again there was a great movie called "A Inspector Calls" Set in Brumley which I think is near where LP lives. In the movie one of the lead male actors goes to a BASEMENT of a hotel where he meets the lead female actress where she is being molestered by a fat business man. Later when describing the meeting of the characters a elder lady says when told that "Women of a certain sort" gather in this place to meet men "Here in Brumley" What I find so fascinating is that the venue looks exactly like Thermae except it's in a English town. And it's full of women of a certain sort. Am I the only person to have seen this movie?

Are you sure it is the 1954 movie or is it one of the plays filmed? (doubt it is the 1982 remake as you said it was b/w)
