77 degrees farenheit this morning in Surin at 9:30 a.m. Last night no need for even a fan for sleeping. Wonderful weather for sleeping and outdoor activities. If you are acclimated to the heat this does feel a mite chilly. :smirk:

Pretty simple: (without long explanations)

Dew appears when air temperature reaches dew point

-> frozen dew appears when the air temperature goes below freezing level.

Although dew freezes when air reaches freezing level (which of course is not always 0 celsius) I have difficulties to believe that frozen dew formed at 6 celsius in Thailand????

Maybe they mistook dew with frozen dew....

Another TIT

NB: Frost occurs when water vapor turns directly into ice.

Frozen dew -> is dew freezing after the air temperature goes below the freezing point.

Frozen dew is a quite unusual weather phenomena when frost is far more common....
