..
Exactly Troy. Not many Carter folks still left in politics, so the only experienced Dems would be former Clintonians. Cheers, SD

jon46
While insiders from the Clinton administration is going to be a fact of life given their experience in government, I hope Obama can balance it out with new people otherwise there can not be "change" but recyclying of people from different parties. It is ironic if Obama places a high value on "experience", what does that say about him? I believe the American people elect him to bring change and not Clinton's third term! rogueyam
Just more right wing whinging. If you really think that it is just conservatives who are responding negatively to this then you are dumber than I think you are, SD, and as you know I think you are pretty damn dumb. I believe the American people elect him to bring change and not Clinton's third term! During the primary Bambi's line was that mere experience was not sufficient, and that he alone had the "judgement" to oppose the Iaq war from the beginning unlike his opponents Clinton and Biden. This was his signature issue. Now these folks of such poor judgement are to lead his State Department and be his Vice President. I wonder how many of the leftist retards who voted for "Hope!" and "Change!" are starting to figure out that they've been bamboozled.
rogueyam
Everyone here knows that I consider leftists to be psychotic retards. But sometimes such people surprise even me: Nov 21, 2008 NY school is renamed for Obama NEW YORK (AP) -- It was only a matter of time. A New York school has been renamed in honor of President-elect Barack Obama. The former Ludlum Elementary School, in Long Island's Hempstead Union Free School District, was renamed at a school board meeting Thursday - effective immediately. School officials say most of the 440 students there are black or Hispanic, and Obama's victory is a source of great pride. --- On the Net: http://www.hempsteadschools.org/ Link
Steve
I wonder how many of the leftist retards who voted for "Hope!" and "Change!" are starting to figure out that they've been bamboozled. He hasn't served a day yet. The jury is still out. WE can't say anyone's been bamboozled till he takes office and we see what he does. That said, I'm not overly worried. The president still sets the tone. If Obama sets the tone then I have every reason to believe that those he has in his cabinet will carry out his plan according to his vision. Clinton had a successful presidency if we look it in terms of prosperity for the country so using 'Clintonians' may not be such a bad thing. Clinton was also a moderate so I would also assume that the appointments may alleviate the fears of conservatives who said we'd be a socialist country. I would think that Rogueyam and other conservatives will sleep a bit easier.

Has it struck you, steve, that Bambi has given no substantive speeches or press conferences since his election? What is his plan?
