AuxFerre
Thank you all for you suggestions on a language school. Do you have recommendations for books and audio programs to learn Thai? I've had great success with Pimsleur for other languages but they only offer a single level for Thai. ALSO, would anyone be able to provide me with an invite to demonoid.com? I'd greatly appreciate it!
samak
the books of Benjawan Becker are good; she has written books for different levels of learning.
Flashermac
I like a book and cassette combo called "Speak Thai in 7 Days". No way you'll learn it all in 7 days, but it's broken into 7 very practical lessons. The tape has both male and female voices. The Rosetta Stone CDs are good for practicing Thai, but aren't much good for learning it from scratch.
