Saverio Rocca joins Ben Graham in round two of the NFL play-offs.

SAVERIO Rocca has followed the lead of fellow former AFL star Ben Graham in reaching the second week of the NFL play-offs.

Rocca, who played 257 AFL games for North Melbourne and Collingwood, kicking 748 goals, punted four times as his side, Philadelphia Eagles, defeated Minnesota Vikings 26-14 in the NFC Wild card game at Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis.

The Australian averaged 44.3 yards from his punts, with a game-long kick of 58 yards.

I suppose this would be a nice earner for a washed out old Aussie Rules player. I realise that punters aren't in the top salary bracket of the NFL but what sort of money would he be picking up?

Yep...of course some guys just punt and some only kick field goals...others both. Field goal kickers are usually the highest scoring guys on the team.

Now, the serious money is in baseball. Lots of guys getting 3000-5000 per PITCH...and more per "at bat".
