Hugh_Hoy Posted January 7, 2009 Report Share Posted January 7, 2009 Well, OSU once again proved it didn't belong in a major bowl game. I was kind of hoping they would come through this time. You know, like 3rd time is a charm? Well, I guess they probably beat the odds makers...dunno. Texas didn't look like #1 team material against the Buckeyes. McCoy is a pretty good QB and should improve next year. OSU doesn't have a quality QB. If McCoy had been playing for OSU and Wells had stayed healthy, OSU might've blown out Texas. I had to laugh when I read this morning a statement by McCoy. He thought Texas could beat any team in the country. (Not enough 5's on my keyboard to start laughing.) Boise State (12-0) probably would've done just as well or better than OSU. It's all about money. But I wonder how long OSU fans will be forking out big bucks to travel next year. Surely it will qualify for the "Mediocre Bowl". Can't wait for Oklahoma/Florida. Should be a shoot-out. I don't care who wins. Just hope to see a good game.
