However, not just talking but talking in the true spirit of how I, as a long-term reader only, saw your discussion boardâ??s past . talking with some â??passionâ?? and just a little bit of Bangkok nasty injected in also. It was never about â??trollingâ??. To troll is, again in my opinion, is an attempt to break a board â?? to make it fail. I attempted a shake up because I have always liked the true spirit of this board and what KS had hoped to achieve by dedicating so much of this time to. What the board represented, a group of guys unhappy and unsatisfied with life in Farangland and unable to accept a nice tin of John West Salomon on a Sunday afternoon for a weekly treat much prefer to blow their muck into a young nymph that across the pages of readers wives. I preferred how the board was before when it wasnâ??t so tried, so slippers and cigar that it is today. An old boys network where very little of interest is presented. Itâ??s becoming a dull chat room for a bunch of mates. You may remember that my main focus was the nightlife section, at least that was my planned starting point before moving to other sections. Prior to my arrival it was becoming, hell â?¦it had becomeâ?¦ tired, dusty and well, wholly uninteresting. Threads on the smoking ban, the price of a lager, a bars refurbishment, blah blah bleedin blah. Again, in my opinion, it worked. If you had just posted - no problem - however your continual desire to attack other posters was plain stoopid - and that's what got you banned I believe. And good to see - we guessed the banned poster again. KS - I suggest leaving this - ban him if you will - but it's proof the problem of newbies is repeat offenders. I think limiting newbies to certain places to post - until say 50 or 100 post - while allowing them to read everything else - is a good way to start. I also appreciate that you tried to help out, although I would have much preferred it if you had asked me if I really wanted the board to go in the direction you were taking it. As it isn't. I have actually been trying to move this board away from a 100% naughty nightlife orientated board. I also think that your reaction to getting banned, and the subsequent threats by email, were seriously out of line. Whilst I'm not a fan of over graphic accounts of a persons sexual preferences or performances, it is nice to find out what's happening in and around Bangkok. There's seldom any recent information. I used to post there along with a lot of friends, most of whom are no longer on the board and many who are married too now. I think many no longer post there as many of us all know each other and have met many of the members and it might be a bit too personal now for some. But that is exactly a good reason to get another identity here and post the more personal stuff under a different name (especially if married).
