DocThai
Any second hand shops? I need a remote for an ELZE DVD player. I bought one for 1,000 baht because they play everything and also have a USB port...but my lovely wife decided that the box needed to be thrown out right away and guess what got tossed??!!##
cavanami
Try the top floor at Old Siam near China Town. They have hundreds of remotes for your choosing.
DocThai
I think they have much older stuff. This is a new player

ChristianTroy
Google the Logitech Harmony it WILL work and is so much more than just a remote control. It gets the functions through the internet. Let's say you run 3 devices while watching a DVD (TV, Stereo and DVD Player) you hit the preset DVD which you setup before and within 1 second it swtiches to the DVD channel on the TV (or turns on TV if off) Switches your Stereo on or to the VD channel and it starts the DVD player at the same time. You can also turn on remote controlled power plugs and more. Not cheap but amazing and only 1 device on your table that actually looks good! soongmak
I think a 3,000 baht remote for a 1,000 baht dvd player is a bit much.

DocThai
Looks like I will just have to buy another player. It's not the 1,000 baht as much as it is a shame to throw away a new DVD player. Problem is that there are no controls on the machine itself except play and eject.
