Mekong Posted March 30, 2009 Report Share Posted March 30, 2009 At a guess I would say it is tied in with the changes to the 90 day reporting rules whereas reporting has to be done a the immigration office nearest to declared registered address. I am under the impression, but I may be wrong, that re-entry permits are now only being re-issued from the foreigners local immigration office. No more re-entry permits issued except at the immigration office having jurisdiction of the province of your residence.
