Wire_Guy
On my next trip this March, I will bring 2 Russian nationals for their first trip. We plan to stay in Bangkok for a week or so and of course we shall head to Pattaya for another week or 10 days. I know Russian foods are available in Pattaya but I don't recall ever having seen such in Bangkok. Are there any Russian places in Bangkok? khunsanuk
Hi, This page mentions a Russian restaurant called Moscva as the only one in BKK. Apparently it is on Soi Lang Suan. Never heard of it though. Sanuk!

Mekong
Isn't that akin to comparing the relative merits of death by lethal injection to the electric chair?
Al
Maybe the question is, are there any restaraunts with Georgian food, which is very good. (if it is made properly.)
..
Lots in Pattaya; a few in Phuket. In Bangkok, try here: Russian Forest (àÑ?ÑÂÑÂúøù ûõÑÂ) 11/13 Sukhumvit soi 1 0-2253-3363 Never ate there (it's on the list to try), so no comment... mainsail
This is a great opportunity for them to try a little cultural expansion. You may want to consider THAI FOOD !!!
Ckrisg
russian food? i even would prefer british food! have never heard of a russian restaurant in Bangkok! Always find comments about British food really silly!!. We have most probably five of the top ten chefs in the world. The fat duck at Bray voted the best restaurant in the world. The best breakfasts in the world, and yes I think Thai is superb as well as lots of others.
Guest lazyphil
yes, easy targets we are ...snobs! . i just finished my homemade lamb cassarole, made from all british produce, lamb, leeks, carrots, spuds, turnips, pearl barley, herbs, bay leafs....i think the tin of toms is italian but cooked in britain by a brit and i am by no means a remotely good chef but this tasted divine, really, as good as anything you can have in a restaurant, they dont have time to cook for 3 hours to really get flavors going! mainsail
Yes, the truth is that most major cities (maybe all?) have excellent international cuisine these days. There is such a blending of cuisines that we are truly living in an era of gastronomic delight!
