Middle East in my industry is lumped often with Africa. EMEA - Europe Middle East Africa is a common phrase I hear.

 

Also easier to service Africa from a base in Middle East or Visa Versa.

 

"South Asia" is the term I hear a lot for Middle East/India Sub Cont.

Dubai(UAE), Bahrain, Oman, Greece, Israel, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, England, Australia, New Zealand, PNG, USA, Mexico, Hong Kong, Phillipines, Thailand, Tuvalu, Singapore, Malaysia, Guam, Indonesia, Western Samoa, Vanuatu. Not a huge list but a bit diverse, I have a lot of places to come soon enough eg Cambo, Laos and Vietnam.

North America: 3 (including Mexico)

South and Central America: 4

Africa: 1

Europe: 25 (YU and CZ counted as one as they were unified when visited, Germany counted as 2 as they were not)

Asia including Middle East: 16

Australia / New Zealand: 0

Total: 49

 

I know someone who has been to Transdnistria, a country he didn't know existed until he happened to bump into her borderguards who didn't let him in
