Quick Visa Run to KL

I lived in KL for a year before moving to BKK so no need to go out and see the sights

After a year in a city that crazy, you must be able to handle anything. I dont remember any single road being as bad as Sukhumvit, but the tendency to find oneself in complete gridlock in a very short period of time never ceased to amaze me, and they dont seem to have anything resembling the Skytrain. Cab drivers blamed it on the mass of new shopping centres in the CBD - whatever it is, I couldnt live in a place like that. Even Jakarta was rarely as bad as I found KL during my (admittedly brief) stay, but I remember how thrilled I was to get out of the plane in Penang and catch a cab to my hotel - totally different traffic flow.

There is a skytrain - slightly ore useful than the Bangkok one. Travel out on the K Skytrain North and at the last stop is a fantastic cheap restaurant.

I miss KL - haven't been there for over a year now :( sadly no reason to go just now.
