cavanami
Bangkok Dangerous - the original Thai version A little different then the Nicky Cage one...I can see why they changed the story a bit from the original one as we couldn't have Nicky as a deaf-mute! so they made the lady in the drug store the deaf-mute...both versions have their + and - points. For me, after seeing both versions, the Thai version was better.

TroyinEwa/Perv
Went and saw The Woverine with Hugh Jackman. Save your baht. Not worth even the 140 I spent. No hot chicks to even make it worthwhile. Decent action scenes but that's about it.
Torneyboy
We saw yesterday Defiance...with Dan Craig Mr Bond..not bad ..lots of action The year is 1941 and the Jews of Eastern Europe are being massacred by the thousands. Managing to escape certain death, three brothers take refuge in the dense surrounding woods they have known since childhood. There they begin their desperate battle against the Nazis. The brothers turn a primitive struggle to survive into something far more consequential - a way to avenge the deaths of their loved ones by saving thousands of others. The_Munchmaster
I watched Daniel Craig in his latest Bond movie last week and I'm sure there's more storyline in your average porn movie. It was just a bunch of action and I've no idea what it was about. Suppose I'd better watch it again.

unit731
Not Without My Daughter. 1991. Sally Field (2 time Academy Award winneer). Based on book by Betty Mahmoody. I thought it was a great movie. But I am a history buff not a movie buff. The written reviews were undistinguished. Later Ilman tytartani from Finland did a documentary about the husbands side of the story. He went to Iran and interviewed the husband. The husband said the book by his ex-wife was all lies. Let's see. Wife lives in freedom of speech country. Husband lives in Iran. Whom do I believe. The movie was about Iran and a US citizen woman who marries an Iranian in the US and they move back to Iran. And the movie was filmed in Israel. Hmm . . . could any of the book/movie reviewers be anti-semitic? Of course not.

You have to watch Casino Royale again before you watch Quantum of Solace as it is basically Casino Royale Part 2 and it makes no sense on it's own.
