Jack Nicholson and Danny DeVito, two great actors doing an excellent job with the movie! A great movie to watch but not sure how much Hollywood embellished the movie.

Anon (2018)

IMDB - In a world without anonymity or crime, a detective meets a woman who threatens their security.

Nice rendition, though not low brow, of the near future and the problems that lack of Anonymity could cause us. Well worth a watch, some nudity.

The Catcher Was a Spy (2018)

IMDB - A major league baseball player, Moe Berg, lives a double life working for the Office of Strategic Services.

Fantastic story, not fantastic as in Wow! Kablam! Zowie! but fantastic as in, almost unbelievable. True story apparently, well worth the watch.

Beirut (2018)

IMDB - Caught in the crossfires of civil war, CIA operatives must send a former U.S. diplomat to negotiate for the life of a friend he left behind.

Nice and gritty tale covering the 60's and the near present in Beirut and the perils of diplomacy/covert actions. Worth a watch.

Terminal (2018)

IMDB - In the dark heart of a sprawling, anonymous city, TERMINAL follows the twisting tales of two assassins carrying out a sinister mission, a teacher battling a fatal illness, an enigmatic janitor and a curious waitress leading a dangerous double life. Murderous consequences unravel in the dead of night as their lives all intertwine at the hands of a mysterious criminal mastermind hell-bent on revenge.

Quite good I reckon, Margot Robbie, is very beautiful. Worth a watch.

Google and the World Brain (2013)

The most ambitious project ever conceived on the Internet: Google's master plan to scan every book in the world and the people trying to stop them. Google say they are building a library for mankind, but they also have other intentions.

Quite informative. A good watch.

Rampage (2018)

I like Dwayne Johnson, but this is a formulaic kids movie.

Gotti (2018) - Travolta has been panned for this performance, but if you ignore his hugely made up face, the rest of the movie is very good, worth a watch.

Like a light weight Indiana Jones. Entertaining but not really WOW. Good for a rainy day,

The War You Don't See (2010)

Thought-provoking documentary on war propaganda: how governments manipulate the facts and how most media let them get away with it.

A John Pilger doco.

Excellent doco on how the media manipulates your mind. Look at the interviews that John does with media representatives...and how they dodge, deflect and distort the answers to John's questions to him!
